Physiotherapist — Sports Injuries & Musculoskeletal Conditions

Kirsty Sim, physiotherapist

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2004 and have spent the past 22 years specialising in sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for helping people move well, recover from injury and achieve their full potential.

My approach is holistic and patient-centred. I believe in looking beyond the injury itself and considering the individual as a whole, while helping patients understand the factors that may be influencing their pain, performance and overall function.

I enjoy keeping up to date with fitness and nutrition trends and exploring how these may support health, recovery and performance. I also take an interest in the impact of hormones on the body, particularly during perimenopause and menopause, and how hormonal changes can influence strength, recovery, energy levels, bone health, movement and wellbeing.

My Philosophy

Working with you, not just on you

I enjoy working with active people who want to maintain and improve their physical wellbeing, and I aim to guide each patient towards becoming the best version of themselves. Building a genuine relationship with my patients is an important part of my practice — I take an interest in each person as an individual and work collaboratively with them to develop practical strategies that support long-term health, performance and quality of life.
